We offer a
selection of attractive one, two, and three bedroom self catering holiday
cottages, each situated in the picturesque conservation
Each cottage is built of granite and is between 120 and 240 years old, very well equipped, tastefully decorated and retains features such as original fireplaces, exposed beams, granite walls etc. and is available throughout the year for summer or winter holidays or short breaks.
Each cottage has a fitted kitchen with electric cooker, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, iron/ironing board, cafeteria etc. a comprehensive range of equipment and utensils, crockery, and cutlery. All lounges have a comfortable seating, Digital TV, DVD and CD player. The bedrooms are pretty with co-ordinating bedding and accessories and there is a shower room with electric shower, toilet and basin. All cottages have storage heating, convector heaters and some cottages have open fires or wood burning fires.
Beds have duvets and pillows and can be made up ready for your arrival. Towels and tea towels can be provided if required.
Item’s of baby equipment such as cot (we do not supply cot bedding), high chair or baby bath can be provided if requested.
Each cottage has a folder containing comprehensive brochures and leaflets on Mousehole, and the surrounding area. If you do not feel like walking the coastal footpaths or visiting local attractions such as the Eden Project (less than 1 hour drive away) or the unique Minack Open Air Theatre, there is a supply of books and games provided.

Mousehole is a picturesque village clustered around
a harbour and is a maze of granite and slate houses and cottages, narrow
winding streets and cobbled alleyways. Within the harbour are two small sandy
beaches. The village also has two larger pebble beaches with rocks and
rock-pools. A
regular bus service runs from Mousehole to Newlyn and Availability Each cottage
is available for self-catering holidays throughout the year. During autumn, winter and spring months, or at short notice
(excluding school holidays), we are also able to offer short breaks or long

Bay View, Mousehole Bay View (left, with blue front door) is an imposing house
situated immediately on the harbourside in Mousehole, just a few feet away
from the water's edge. There are stunning and uninterrupted sea views from
the tastefully decorated kitchen (recently refurbished), lounge and each of
the three bedrooms across the harbour and Mount's Bay towards St Michael's
Mount and the Lizard Peninsular. Accommodation (sleeps five) -

Lantern Cottage,
Mousehole Lantern Cottage is a very pretty granite cottage, quietly tucked away from the bustling village streets – yet only 30 metres from the beach. The cottage retains many period features such as beamed ceilings, exposed granite walls and a very small original cast iron fireplace in the main bedroom. |

Gurnick Cottage,
Mousehole Situated next door but one from Lantern Cottage, hidden away in
a traffic-free setting, less than 30 metres from the beach. This attractively furnished “fisherman’s” cottage has
beamed ceilings and exposed granite walls etc. Perfect for those wanting to
enjoy a relaxing break, or be woken by the sound of waves rolling pebbles
onto the rocky beach nearby. |

cottage is the ideal retreat for a couple wanting to escape! Retaining

Electricity -
The above prices do not include electricity, which is either by meter reading
and/or slot meter.
Linen –
For a small additional charge we can also provide linen (sheets, pillowcases,
towels, tea-towels).
Occupancy -
If more than the recommended numbers of people are staying in the cottage, we
must agree to this prior to booking, and you will be charged accordingly (at a
rate of £25 per person).
Parking - Car parking is available in either of the
harbour car parks (at a cost of approximately £2 per day) or on the streets
within the village.
Booking -
If you would like to book a holiday in one of our cottages, please either email
or telephone to check availability. We will then forward a booking form to your
home address. This should be returned to us, within 5 days, with a
non-refundable £50 deposit per week. We will then confirm your booking by
return post. We are unable to confirm any booking until we have received a
completed booking form and deposit (together with the rental if within 6
weeks). The rental is payable six weeks before the start of your holiday. We
will then forward a map of the village a couple of weeks before the start of
your holiday.
Last
minute bookings - For last minute
bookings, it is possible to pay for your holiday and collect the key and map at
the same time.
